Hello! This is Fish & Bubbles. Today, we headed out to the Kerama Islands with three new guests who were visiting us for the very first time! When we looked up at the sky, it was a brilliant blue—it felt as if the rainy season had already ended! The sea was completely calm, making for a perfect day for diving.

A Leisurely Trip to Experience the Kerama Blue—and to Check Things Out
Today, we had divers who were using their own gear for the first time, as well as others who hadn’t dived in a year. We started with leisurely check dives at “Kuroshima North” and “Paraiso,” where everyone got a feel for their gear. We also had a perfect encounter with the sea turtles that had been requested, and everyone was mesmerized by the crystal-clear waters of the Kerama Islands.
A Miraculous "Private Manta" Experience at Uchizan Reef
To wrap things up, we went drift diving at “Uchizan Reef,” where manta rays had been spotted the day before! We entered the water hoping, “I wonder if they’ll show up today…” And the result? They did! Manta rays!! What’s more, there were no other groups around—we had the manta rays all to ourselves for the entire dive! I was truly amazed by everyone’s incredible luck—to receive such an amazing gift on this memorable day, my first dive with my own gear!
