[Kerama Island Scuba Diving] An Exclusive Dive with a Miraculous Manta Ray! The Perfect Reward the Day After Passing My Advanced Certification!

Hello! This is Fish & Bubbles. Today, we took two divers who successfully completed their Advanced Open Water (AOW) course yesterday on a celebratory fun dive in the Kerama Islands! Having finished their training and officially become Advanced Open Water divers, they were able to fully enjoy the dynamic dive sites of the Kerama Islands, carrying that same confidence they had yesterday.

Dives 1 & 2: Kuroshima North & Kamigusuku

During our morning dive, we were reunited with the loggerhead sea turtle we saw yesterday! On top of that, the Kerama Islands’ favorite creatures made one appearance after another, including a large cuttlefish and a sleeping dogfish resting in the shadows of the rocks. As Advanced Divers, I was delighted to see how much you’ve grown—you’re now able to observe these creatures with ease while carefully managing your depth and air supply.

Dive 3: Uchizan Reef

And for our final dive, we headed to "Uchizan Reef" for a drift dive. There have been a series of manta sightings recently. We entered the water thinking, “Let’s all try to spot one for our final dive!” And the result…? We hit the jackpot! To our amazement, a huge manta appeared right before our eyes! What’s more, with no other teams around, we had the manta all to ourselves for the entire dive—it was an incredibly luxurious experience. We savored the sight of the manta dancing gracefully to our hearts’ content. It was the absolute best way to celebrate passing our Advanced certification!

Why not come experience a "miraculous moment" in the waters of Kerama?
